DNA testing confirms if a person is a child's biological grandparent by comparing their DNA.
Service Description
Grandparentage DNA testing is used when the alleged father is not available to provide a sample. The child’s DNA is compared to the paternal grandparents. Testing can be achieved with one grandparent to determine if they are the biological grandparent of the child. If only one grandparent is available, it is recommended to include the mother’s sample to improve results. Donors Included: (1) Alleged Paternal Grandmother or Grandfather (1) Child (1) Mother (Highly Recommended) There is an extra fee to add on additional alleged fathers and/or children for testing.
